1er Festival Internacional LEAM “Imaginando Futuros Comunes”.

Arte, Sustentabilidad y Cambio Climático

The LEAM Festival is organized by the Acoustic Ecology Lab in Mexico, in partnership with the Contemporary Art Museum Morelos Juan Soriano (MMAC), the Goethe-Institut, and the Fonoteca Nacional de México. Its mission is to create transformative strategies where art and science act as catalysts for change in the face of climate change.

As the environmental crisis intensifies, the need for immediate and creative action becomes increasingly urgent. The LEAM Festival serves as a meeting point for innovation and long-term change. Climate change affects all areas of life—including the music and art industry. Festival participants are therefore prepared to ask questions about the role of art, music, and technology in shaping a more sustainable future. The LEAM FESTIVAL assembles three ensembles, two collectives, 19 independent artists, and 13 scientists to engage in concerts, performances, sound installations, exhibitions, discussion panels, lectures, debates, and workshops.
