On April 18 and 19, 2026, AUDIBLE PERSPECTIVES, the first Swiss festival dedicated to Acoustic Ecology will take place in Biel/Bienne.

With Audible Perspectives, the Swiss Society for Acoustic Ecology (SSAE), founded in 2023, aims to raise awareness of our sonic environment and invites the audience to explore invisible soundscapes.
This new festival combines art and science, offering a unique space for joint research, discussion, experience, and listening through an engaging yet profound program.
Program
Over two days, Audible Perspectives will feature keynote lectures, concerts, sound walks, listening sessions, performances, and sound installations.

The pre-opening will take place on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Lokal-Int, in collaboration with the event series “Kopfhörer” and featuring a concert by Léa Paintandre.
