Echoes of Karoonjhar – Nagarparkar, Sindh, Pakistan

Dawn Chorus, Karoonjhar Mountain, Nagarparkar, Sindh, Pakistan — recorded on 27 August 2026 at approximately 5:00 AM during the Karoonjhar Commune Art Residency by Lahooti and the British Council Pakistan. The recording captures the early-morning acoustic environment of Karoonjhar, with multiple bird species emerging as the landscape transitions from night into day. Recorded using a Zoom H6 Studio with the XY capsule at 96 kHz. BirdNET analysis identified Laughing Dove, Red-vented Bulbul, Indian Peafowl, and Common Tailorbird within the recording.
